Glyme Structures is a consultancy based in Oxfordshire that provides expert structural engineering advice to private, commercial and institutional clients, owned and run by me, James Rowe.
I produce structural engineering solutions for architecturally sophisticated buildings in timber, steel, concrete and masonry, and advise on the refurbishment, repair and redevelopment of existing buildings.
I also have extensive experience in the design of civil engineering structures including deep basements, retaining walls, and complex foundation systems including piling and underpinning.
Working primarily in the building sector, I work closely with architects to develop economical, buildable structural engineering solutions that allow architectural ideas to fly. I pride myself on producing clear drawings and other construction documents that assist the swift and confusion-free execution of works.
